A highlight of the week will be a special luncheon on Monday, May 11, 1998 at the Kearney Ramada Inn. Governor Nelson has been invited to serve as the keynote speaker for the gala which will include a salute to the manufacturers and the major employers in Kearney.
A special section of the Kearney Hub will salute the many contributions of businesses and industry to Kearney's 125 year history is now in the planning stages.
Other Plans include a salute to the new historical markers to be placed on many locations around central and downtown Kearney.
